PSEO (POSTSECONDARY ENROLLMENT OPTION)

  • WHERE ARE THE RIDGEWATER CAMPUS BOOKSTORES LOCATED?1

    •    A: The Ridgewater Campus Bookstore on the Willmar campus is located to the right inside the front door of the Student Center building. The Hutchinson Campus Bookstore is located straight towards the back of the building when you enter the main building doors.

  • WHAT ITEMS ARE COVERED BY PSEO FUNDING?1

    •    A: Required textbooks and course materials, most kits, and calculators are covered by PSEO funding. Please select used textbooks, DO NOT select rentals, and only choose 1 (e-book) or 1 (textbook) if there are both options listed when checking out. Optional/recommended items and shipping fees are not covered by PSEO and your credit/debit card will be charged.

  • HOW DO I BUY MY TEXTBOOKS ONLINE?1

    •    A: Textbooks can be ordered online and directions can be found under PSEO Ordering Directions on the left hand side of this page. Orders placed online can be shipped to you (UPS) or picked up at the campus bookstores at your convenience. For online orders, you will immediately receive an e-mail confirmation that your order was received. You will receive a second e-mail when your order has been filled, your account charged and your books are ready to be picked up or shipped out per your request. No charge will occur until your books are ready. Please wait for your second e-mail before trying to come in and pick up your web order. A photo ID is required to pick up your web order.

  • WHY IS MY ONLINE ORDER NOT GOING THROUGH?1

    •    A: If your online order is not going through, please check the following before contacting the bookstore: Does your billing address match your credit card? Is your Student ID number your tech ID number? Do you have a hold on your account? Did you accidentally select a rental option for a book? If you cannot figure out what is causing problems, please contact the bookstore.

  • DO I NEED A RIDGEWATER CAMPUS BOOKSTORE WEBSITE ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?1

    •    A: Yes, you will need to create an online account that will be used by the campus store to manage your order and shipping information. You may use your Ridgewater e-mail address or personal email address when creating your account. Please choose an email you will check the most often. You will need your Tech ID (not your social security, not your star ID) to create your account.

  • CAN I CANCEL MY ONLINE ORDER?1

    •    A: If your order has not been processed, we can cancel it for you, but you need to contact the Bookstore at 320-222-5590 with your name, Tech ID, and order number.

  • HOW DO I PAY FOR MY PSEO TEXTBOOKS AND COURSE MATERIALS?1

    •    A: When buying your items online, please click on the drop down menu to select "Financial Aid/3rd Party Agency/PSEO." If you do not see the PSEO option in the drop down menu, check your account to see if you have holds. If you do not have any holds, please contact the bookstore at 320-222-5590 if you do not see the "Financial Aid/3rd Party Agency/PSEO" option. If you do not select "Financial Aid/3rd Party Agency/PSEO, your order will come through as a credit/debit card order.

  • WHEN DO I NEED TO RETURN MY PSEO ITEMS?1

    •    A: PSEO items are due by the last day of the semester. These items include all items that are paid for by the PSEO program, such as required textbooks/course materials, loose-leaf textbooks, art and course kits (all unused materials and tools), and calculators. Any optional/recommended items or used access codes that were purchased using a credit/debit card are yours to keep. You may return your items to the bookstore during finals week, return by mail (Please note the bookstore does not pay for return shipping. All mailed back returns must be postmarked by the last day of the semester. Please include your name, student ID number, and phone number in your return), or in the drop box located outside the bookstores. Have questions about what you should return? Call the bookstore at 320-222-5590.

  • CAN I USE PSEO FUNDS FOR ITEMS OTHER THAN REQUIRED MATERIALS?1

    •    A: PSEO Funding can be used for required textbooks and course materials. Optional, recommended items, and shipping fees are not covered by PSEO and will be charged to your credit/debit card. Items such as apparel, gifts, supplies, and food and drink are not covered by PSEO.

  • DO STUDENTS HAVE ACCESS TO DISCOUNTED SOFTWARE?1
  • HOW DO PSEO STUDENTS GET THEIR TEXTBOOKS AFTER ORDERING THEM ONLINE?1

    •    A:  After placing an order online, PSEO students may pick up their books at the online order pick up window at the bookstore or have it shipped UPS. If you choose to pick up your online order at the bookstore, remember to bring a photo ID with you. Note: All PSEO books are the property of the Bookstore and must be returned to the Bookstore in good condition by the last day of the semester. Students will be responsible to pay for any textbooks that are damaged (water, etc.) or not returned by the deadline.

  • WHAT IF I DROP A CLASS?1

    •    A: Books and Course Materials from Dropped, Switched, or Cancelled classes must be returned or exchanged immediately. If you do no return items from these dropped, switched, or cancelled classes, you will be charged for them.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I DO NOT RETURN MY PSEO ITEMS?1

    •    A: If textbooks are not returned and the student has not paid the replacement fees, a hold will be placed on the students records until all textbook fees are paid in full through the Ridgewater College Business Office. Students with holds will NOT be allowed to register for classes or pick-up textbooks for future courses until all textbook fees have been paid. If you are having trouble purchasing textbooks online, check your account for potential holds.
